Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the system-level design of lead-to-lithium and lead-to-sodium battery module conversions, ensuring structural compatibility, performance enhancement, and cost control to enable direct replacement of conventional lead-acid batteries.
2. Lead the electrical and structural design of residential energy storage battery systems (lithium iron phosphate/sodium-ion), including thermal management strategies, BMS communication architecture, and safety protection design.
3. Develop high-rate starting batteries (such as sodium-based motorcycle starter batteries), with a focus on optimizing instantaneous discharge performance, low-temperature starting reliability, and cycle life.
4. Supports the development of power battery PACKs (for light electric vehicles and special-purpose vehicles), balancing energy density, power output, and system safety.
5. Undertake end-to-end technical coordination from cell selection to mass production of PACKs, and develop a Design Verification Plan (DVP).
6. In coordination with the Quality Department, establish PACK testing standards (covering safety, performance, and environmental adaptability); in coordination with the Production Department, complete the transition from pilot production to mass production process implementation.
7. Provide product technology empowerment to the Sales and Marketing Department, delivering customized solutions, competitive analysis, and technical support documentation.
8. Responsible for patent layout and the establishment of a technical documentation system, including product specifications, parameter sheets, user manuals, BMS strategy manuals, and more.
Job Qualifications:
1 Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field;
2 — Possesses more than 5 years of experience in the development of power/energy storage battery systems and has fully led at least two mass-produced PACK projects.
3 Proficient in PACK structural design (including lightweight design, thermal management, and sealing protection), and skilled in the use of simulation and design tools such as ANSYS and CATIA. Possesses a deep understanding of BMS hardware design, software strategies (SOC/SOH estimation, equalization management), and communication protocols (CAN, UDS).
4 Familiar with cell testing standards and selection methods, and possess the ability to coordinate technically with suppliers.
5 • Possesses the ability to build cost models and is familiar with market price fluctuations of battery cells, structural components, and electronic components.
6 Preference will be given to candidates with experience in any of the following areas: lead-acid battery replacement, home energy storage, or high-rate batteries.
